Cookie Policy
Effective 8 August 2026. Cookies and similar technologies on AnalogFixer, and how to manage them.
Effective date: 8 August 2026
Last updated: 8 August 2026
This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used at analogfixer.com. Read it with our Privacy Policy. AnalogFixer is operated by Midoweb SRL; full operator details are in the Terms of Use.
What these technologies are
A cookie is a small value stored by a browser. Similar technologies include browser storage, pixels, tags, beacons, consent strings, and instrumented requests that can recognize a browser or report an interaction.
Technologies we use
Anonymous first-party measurement
After analytics consent where required, the browser can send a page-view or on-page-action signal to our first-party endpoint. The endpoint immediately adds one to a normalized aggregate counter. It does not store or read a cookie, create a visitor identifier, or retain IP addresses, user agents, referrers, session data, or individual event records.
Google Analytics 4
After analytics consent where required, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) uses cookies and similar technologies to measure visits and interactions. It can receive page addresses, interaction data, cookie or similar identifiers, device and browser information, approximate location, and the IP address used to make the request.
GA4 uses the following first-party cookies by default:
_ga, used to distinguish users, with a default lifetime of two years; and_ga_<container-id>, used to retain session state, with a default lifetime of two years.
Browser restrictions or a shorter configured period can reduce these lifetimes.

Google advertising
We use AdSense for Search, including Related Search on Content, and disable ad personalization. Related search terms and ads are based on the page context or current search term, not on an interest or browsing profile.
Search ads can involve first- and third-party cookies. The exact cookies depend on the request, region, browser, and consent. They may include:
NID, retained for six months after the last use;_Secure-ENIDandSOCS, retained for 13 months;AEC, retained for six months for fraud and abuse prevention;id, retained for 13 months in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland and for 24 months elsewhere; and_gads, retained for 13 months.
More information is available in Google’s Cookie Policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
Consent withdrawal and browser controls
Where consent is required, optional analytics and advertising technologies remain disabled unless consent has been obtained. You can withdraw consent for browser storage by deleting cookies and site data associated with this site and Google, and by configuring your browser to block them. Browser help pages explain how to manage these controls.
Google provides a browser add-on for preventing GA4 collection: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google cookie choices can also be managed at https://g.co/privacytools. Withdrawal applies to future processing and does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Further information
For more about personal-data purposes, recipients, transfers, retention, and your rights, read our Privacy Policy. Third-party processing is also explained in the provider policies linked above. See also our Terms of Use.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the technologies or purposes used on the site change.
